About RavenGrid

RavenGrid is a daily word puzzle platform built for friends, leagues, and wordsmiths who want something more than another Wordle clone.

The games

• Cascade — Five themed 5-letter words in eight total guesses. When you solve a word, any green letter that also matches the next word at the same position becomes a locked-in hint. Chain them all to win.
• Echo — A secret word and its anagram twin. Both must fall in seven guesses. Each guess scores against both words simultaneously.
• Decoy — Five boards but only one is real. The other four are decoys, each flipping a random cell color per guess. Find the truth, then crack it.

Daily + practice

Daily puzzles roll over at 00:00 UTC — same puzzle for everyone, every day. Streaks count for daily wins only. Practice rounds (random) and archive replays (past puzzles) are unlimited and don't affect your streak.

Leagues

Create a league, share the code, and compete with just your friends. Independent leaderboards, no random strangers.

Open source-ish

Built with Next.js + Supabase + Cloudflare Pages. Word data sourced from Datamuse and WordNet. Definitions link to Merriam-Webster. Etymologies link to Etymonline.
